(III) The Concept of INFODRAMA

Dr. Bharti has introduced a new genre of plays in Indian Theatre known as Infodrama, as an entertaining alternative of scholarly lectures and classroom teaching on various subjects including History, Archaeology, Museology and the Knowledge Tradition of India (Scientific and Artistic). An infodrama informs the audience about researched facts related to the central theme of the play. Infodramas created and directed by Dr. Bharti are: Yakśinī (यक्षिणी), Asthi Kalaś (अस्थि कलश), Śrī Nālandā Mahāvihāra (श्री नालंदा महाविहार), Aśṭnayikā (अष्टनायिका), The Last Journey (दि लास्ट जर्नी), Khanḍahar Bol Uṭhā (खँडहर बोल उठा), Mohanjodaro Kī Nartakī (मोहनजोदारो की नर्तकी).
An Infodrama Series Kautiltya's Arthshastra and another on Aryabhatta's Life & Theory are her next ventures in this field.

(VII) CULTURAL HERITAGE ACTIVISM
  1. Organized dozens of Seminars on the Conservation of Cultural Heritages and Traditions.
  2. Organised 7 days’ workshop on Ancient Indian Script Kaithi & Mithilakshar in 2018 in association with other Institutions.
  3. Organizes theatre workshop to train the young artists.
  4. Organizes programmes for school children for awareness towards Cultural Heritages & Tradition in collaboration with government organizations.
  5. Started Heritage Play & Heritage Series of Videos to educate people about our cultural heritages, traditions, history and archaeology to promote heritage wareness and conservation.
(VIII) THEATRE IN EDUCATION (TiE)

Organises Theatre In Education workshops and Infodrama performances in educational institutions like, Schools, Colleges and Universities. Since 2017 she has organised more than 50 TIE programmes. Her initiatives are exclusive in this field because:

  1. She has undertaken TIE projects for higher and specialised educational fields like Museology, Archaeology, History and Ancient Indian Culture in form of Infodramas like YAKSHINI, ASTHI-KALASH, SHRI NALANDA MAHAVIHARA, ASHTANAYIKA, MOHENJO-DARO KI NARTAKI etc. Up to this date TiE in India (projects mostly undertaken by NSD and CCRT) was limited to the primary education.
  2. Sunita Bharti is preparing another series of plays for secondary and senior secondary science education. Perhaps this initiative is the first in the world.
