FACES Patna
About Us
Foundation for Art, Culture, Ethics & Science, popularly known as its acronym FACES was founded in 2015 with an objective to preserve and propagate Art, Culture, Heritages, Ethical Values and the Tradition of Scientific Knowledge of our nation Bharat, as its name implies. This is a ‘not for profit’ society registered under ‘society registration act XXI, 1860’.

Idiology & Objective:

Bharat (India) is the oldest civilization in on this planet Mother Earth. All other ancient civilizations (Egypt, Mesopotamia, China) do not go beyond 4th millennium B. C. while Sindhu Saraswati Civilization (Indus or Indic Civilization) goes beyond 8th millennium B. C. However a loby of some western and leftist scholars deny, Bharat is identified as the Cradle of Civilization by majority of eminent scholars, and the idea is gaining support from the academic world.
The Sindhu Saraswati Civilization is continued till this date while other great civilizations mentioned above are known only through historical and archaeological evidences. Despite a number of upheavals, aggressions and destructions the Indian Civilization, along with its Culture survived and flourished, hence our Great Ṝṣis named it as “Sanātan Sanskriti” or ‘Sanātana Dharma’ (the eternal religion and culture).
Right from the beginning, the Indian Tradition of Scientific & Spiritual Knowledge, the Indian system of Holistic Education and Artistic/Aesthetic Values have been influencing the world. Indians had mastered in physical and medical sciences, architecture, astronomy, mathematics, yoga etc. much earlier than any other civilization in the world. A number of theories, concepts and ideas we think today as contribution of the West, are, in fact, of the Indian origin and were adopted by several other civilizations in the past, but could not continue in India due to the long reigns of aggressors.
We, the people of India, are the proud heir of this amazing, rich, multi-dimensional and all-inclusive culture which stands tallest among the cultural units of the world; therefore, it is expected from us to know it very well and act accordingly. If we wish to scale the sky, we must spread our roots deeper in to our own soil. The seeds of our progress will grow on our own land, not in the winds from east and west. This is why, FACES has determined its objective to make our young generation well acquainted with the charismatic aura of Indian Culture and Tradition which has been neglected in the name of modernism and globalization for a long time and as a result it is going out of the memory of our new generation.
