FACES Patna
About Us

FACES is a non-governmental organisation working for Education, Conservation and Propagation of Art, Culture, Tangible & Intangible Heritages, Ethical Values and Indian Tradition of Scientific Knowledge. This is a 'not for profit' organization.

A nation/civilization is identified by its culture, heritage, traditions and values.
Ours is the oldest civilization on the earth thriving from time immemorial to this date without much change despite the numerous upheavals, aggressions and catastrophes- manmade and natural. This is why Indian culture is called as “Sanātan Sanskriti” or Sanātan Dharma  (an eternal religion and culture). The Tradition of Scientific & Spiritual Knowledge (physical sciences, medical science, astronomy, astrology, mathematics, yoga-sadhana etc.), the system of Holistic Education, Aesthetic Sense and Scientific Outlook/Way of Life of Ancient India have, obviously, been influencing and inspiring the world since time immemorial.
We, the people of India, are the proud heir of this amazing, rich, multi-dimensional and all-inclusive culture which stands tallest among the cultural units of the world; therefore we are expected to know it well and act accordingly. If we wish to scale the sky, we must spread our roots deep in to our own soil. The seeds of our progress will grow on our own land, not in the winds from the west.
In the light of above facts, FACES has set its objective to bring forth the charismatic aura of Indian Culture and Tradition which has been back-sacked in past few centuries, and has begun going out of memory of our new generation since a few decades.

How much we love and respect our cultural heritages and traditions, indicates how civilised we are!
